Since 1997 Warnborough College has offered hundreds of vocational and career skills by Distance Learning. Today, over 600+ courses (www.warnborough.online) are available as well as apprenticeships. New thinking is required to meet demanding challenges in industry, commerce and the professions. Climate changes, pandemics, famine, wars, recessions, and uncertainty have thrown the world into chaos. We are facing a ‘new reality’ for learning new ways of working where useful practical skills are essential.
Warnborough College has been at the skills-forefront with online innovation and with hands-on training at its learning centres around the world. It is not a ‘new boy on the block’. Its founding goes back to Oxford in 1973, and 2023 celebrates 50 years of growth and success. Its mission is to empower people and communities through education so that they can cross boundaries and widen their horizons. The Warnborough Foundation charities in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands sponsors scholarships and grants for vocational training, and workshops for teacher upskilling. Always forward thinking, Warnborough participates in Erasmus+ projects with many progressive universities.
The leading TVET organisation the International Vocational Education and Training Association (www.iveta.global) brings together individuals and institutions passionate about networking through regional and national conferences. A wealth of information can be gleaned through a modest membership.
Warnborough College welcomes all those individuals and institutions to join our worldwide thrust in the above endeavours.
