Bricks and Mortarboards – A journey to Warnborough College (UK & Ireland)

This is an amazing book by Dr Brenden D. Tempest-Mogg about a journey along a rocky road, where faith, commitment, and focus have been paramount.

Brenden, an aspiring youth from the Sydney seaside suburb of Manly, persevered with his studies and graduated from four universities. While at the University of Oxford, he was inspired to provide the same unique experience of Socratic learning to overseas students. Together with his mother, Ethyl, he pioneered an educational concept in 1973: Warnborough College.

Today, Warnborough is worldwide and flourishing, thanks to the students, faculty, staff, and friends who have contributed to its expanding vision.

This book is the story of how a vision, coupled with hard work and determination, can change many lives. Copies may be acquired through AMAZON books.

REVIEW: “As I read the book, I found that I could not put the book down. It was so very interesting to see how your life and the birth of Warnborough came to be today. Your family. especially your mother, who founded the very beginnings of Warnborough, together with your sister and brother’s support throughout the rows and rows of bricks – one on top of another in the lengthy process of years to your waiting dream of this magnificent institution, to open all minds of various races and financial status. However, Dr. Brenden had a more compassionate quest in mind; he wanted to welcome and assist the less financially sound students, and to this day I thank you Dr. Brenden for accepting me as one of the poorer students. Yes, Dr. Brenden, you have a heart, and that is why Warnborough has been successful and will continue to be the epitome of all the educational institutions worldwide. Bravo Warnborough! We must not forget Dr. Brenden Tempest -Mogg. – the inspiration of it all. Sincerely,” Dr. Rose Grimaldi, New York, USA (3rd November 2020)
