1. UK Universities are accepting people into uni degrees before they complete their secondary school -irrespective of what their secondary school results are:

2.  In Australia  ” universities are allowing students who have effectively failed Year 12 to become classroom teachers, in a move that has “alarmed” Federal Education Minister Simon Birmingham”.

For many competitors in education – both public & private institutions; it would appear providing an education service is more of a business and less to do with helping students learn

It’s a sad state of affairs.
